The Sephora Spring Sale usually happens in April and the Fall Sale is usually in October. The dates are typically announced two weeks ahead of the sale.
How Does The Sephora Sale Work?
How much you can save during the Sephora sale is based on your tier in the Sephora Beauty Insider program. Rouge members have first access to the sale and 20% off of their entire purchase, followed by VIB members the next week (with 15% off of their purchase), and then Beauty Insiders get access after that with 10% off.
Your membership tier is determined by how much you spend at Sephora stores and on Sephora.com. The program is free to join and you start at the Insider level. After you spend $350 you reach the VIB level and after spending $1000 you reach Rouge. As long as you spend the required level amount each year (January 1st to December 31st) your status is maintained for the following year.

It’s price than this Fresh treatment essence, but you’ve seen the skincare girlies swearing by it.

The Mister and I have been using this for about a year now and have no complaints. It’s a very basic moisturizer with no frills. That is EXACTLY what your skin might need especially if you are using serums.

The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer
This cream is very moisturizing and sinks into your skin quickly. It plumps a little bit, but not to the point where you feel puffy. While I would normally recommend the small size to try, it is very, very small. Splurge on the larger size so you have enough to really see if you’re happy with it or not. Plus it comes with an applicator so you don’t have to dig your fingers into it every time you use it.

This is on our wishlists for the packaging. At least that’s what made us take another look. We are all in on antioxidants and anti-inflammatory products and this one has both of those qualities with its star ingredient, turmeric. We’re grabbing this one to see if it holds up to the hype.

Lipsticks typically do not stay on me for any length of time, but this one comes closest to having all-day staying power. I am a big fan of slim cases and this one is so cool. I also, really like the almost square shape of the tube as it allows me better control where I am applying product.

My scalp revolts during the winter. Flakes, dry scalp, constant itching, and basically everything you can imagine an irritated and dry scalp might do. I tried this product the past winter and my results after two washes with Amla soothing scalp serum have been nothing short of amazing. After my second wash there was no itching, hardly any dandruff, and my dry scalp was much more tolerable. I highly recommend it!

Honey Infused Scalp Treatment Serum
I have an extremely dry and flaky scalp and this worked wonderfully for me on the first try. I’ve tried scalp oiling and that made it worse, but this stuff transformed my scalp. After one use my scalp was hydrated and didn’t feel tight. Plus, I had hardly any flakes for days. I now use it every time I wash my hair. I highly recommend this product if you’re having any issues with flakiness or dryness.

This is the kind of candle you want to burn as a treat to yourself after a long stressful day. The scent is not super sweet like many other vanilla fragrances. It’s more rounded and the woodsy notes of cedar definitely come through.
What NOT To Buy At The Sephora Sale
We are not here to trash-talk products, but these didn’t perform how we expected them to. Of course, you are free to try them for yourself but these are our words of caution.
Kosas Air Brow
This does NOT apply to the clear color we mentioned earlier. This is for the tinted options. After many attempts, we could not find a shade that complimented our faces and brows. The formula was sticky like it wouldn’t dry no matter how long we wore it and on top of that, the color bled onto our forehead and toward our eyelids. Again, the clear one is phenomenal.
Kosas Brightening Concealer
I really wanted to love this since it was my first foray into concealers with a clean formula, but it didn’t cover anything no matter how I tried to build it up. It also separated very quickly defeating the purpose of the my-skin-but-better look I was going for. Pass.
Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
This product was getting very close to staple status but my skin has changed. Do not buy this if you have oily skin. You will glow in a bad way and it settled into pores. But if you have normal or dry skin buy this. It doesn’t come in a lot of shades so it may be hard to find a good match.
Skin Fix Resurface+ Glycolic and Lactic Acid Renewing Body Scrub
We debated putting this one in the what to get section, but after some deliberation, we decided to put this body scrub here. It works well, but the application process sucks if you don’t have a very large shower. You have to apply this to dry skin, rub it in circles from the neck down with little particles falling all around you, then rinse it off. This is impractical unless your shower gets hot immediately or if you scrub outside of the shower. While option one is ideal, most of our showers take a few seconds to warm up. Scrubbing outside the shower means you’ll have to clean up the particles later.
